I've wanted to do a blog for a longtime. I just get so busy between being a mom and everyday life. However, after my partner Southie reminded me how important it is to get the word out there, and how you are not alone if you see what I see. This got me thinking maybe..... I should really try harder at starting this up. So, here is my attempt in becoming a blogger. Brace yourself. :)
As if you haven't already picked up on it, I am a medium. Being a medium is not what it appears to be like on t.v. Like any gift, it can be a blessing, but it can be very draining on you. First you have the spirits draining your energy then you have the non-believers. The non-believers will think you are crazy or you're seeking attention. Ok the last time I checked, I've not known anyone who wants unwanted attention. Do you? Then you have your support system and these are the ones who have experienced it and believe what you're telling them.
In order to share this part of my life with you, I will have to tell you about Southie. She is my dear friend and partner in our adventure. She is not a medium though a true lover of the paranormal. Her and I had been playing in the same room on Yahoo games when we started talking about television shows. We soon realized we had the same taste in shows. After a while of chit chatting we began to talk about the paranormal. I told her something I avoided telling many people for years, for fear of being ridiculed. See my own parents being Christians that they are made me grow up believing it wasn't a gift but a curse. I wasn't allowed to talk about it in my mothers home. Which is another blog all by itself or you may find some answers in my FAQ section.
I don't know why I felt comfortable with Southie, but I did. Surprisingly after telling her the reaction she gave me was exciting. We ended up talking over the phone and she, being like anyone else, wanted to test me, well I passed with flying colors. If she had any little doubt, it was gone. I was excited to see how excited she was to hear all about my experiences. After many talks on the phone and the internet we met. We started our adventure and our love for the paranormal only grew. We have taken breaks on and off from our adventures, however we are determined now to restart and stay steady.
I hope that you all enjoy reading my blogs and even branch out and share some of your own stories with us. I will write even more later on. Though Southie thought it would be good for us to have a F.A.Q. blog so I am off to work on that. So you know in advance, I will always be updating the F.A.Q. entry. Cause one thing I learned in being a medium the questions never stop.
I wish you all peace and hope to get to know you all real soon.
